We're excited to announce who'll be joining us for our Sept 24 conversation with Beth Howard – Gopal Dayaneni and Tré Vasquez of Movement Generation, Chika Okoye of Center for Political Education and Elisabeth Long of Catalyst Project. Join us!

When: Thursday, September 24 | 6:00–7:30 PM
Where: Revival Hall | 4799 Shattuck Ave, Oakland

In her memoir, Beth draws on her experience growing up in a rural working-class community in Eastern Kentucky and two decades of organizing in the South.

Beth’s story has a lot to offer those of us organizing here in the Bay Area. How do we build solidarity across race, class, and region? How do we connect the issues affecting working-class people’s daily lives to struggles across the globe? And how can political education help us build stronger leaders and movements?
