The question we get all the time… 🤔 “Why do you meet on Saturdays?” Lights, camera action! 💡🎥🎬🍿


So, here is Pastor Caesar with the answer to the big question:

"We meet on Saturday afternoons at 4pm for two reasons. One is missional and one is pastoral.

The Missional reason is simply this:
When Gracepoint started, we did the research and we found out that the one hour of the weekend that no one has anything scheduled is between 4pm to 5pm on Saturday afternoon. Because we want to make it easy for people to come to church, we picked the time that wouldn't interfere with their already busy schedules.

The Pastoral reason is this:
I want to give people their Sunday's back. In the Bay Area, Sundays are the day that many of us prepare for the week. We shop for groceries, do the laundry, meal prep, clean the house, and everything else we need to do to get ready for Monday. With church on Saturday afternoon, you have your whole Sunday to do what you need to do.

We know Saturday afternoon won't work for everyone, and if you are looking for a good, Bible-believing church in our area that meets on Sunday, let me know. There are many great churches led by awesome pastors nearby and I would love to make the introductions!

But if Saturday does work, and you are looking for a place to find community and grow your faith, then we'd love to see you at Gracepoint Church!"

Most of us live at the last step. We default to produce, serve, do. And then wonder why we’re fried.

Here’s the reorder: it starts with sitting down, not standing up. Not because the work doesn’t matter, but because you can’t pour from a tank you never fill.

Sit. Listen. Receive. Then go do the thing. In that order.

Which step do you skip the most? Mine’s #1.

One of the most common questions people ask is how to know if I”m ready for baptism?

The surprising answer from the Bible isn't, "When you've cleaned up your life."

It's, "When you've put your trust in Jesus."

You don't qualify because you've become perfect.
You qualify because Jesus has made a way.

Yesterday was a beautiful day as we celebrated Jenni, Chris, their kids Jarel and Chloe, and Celeste taking the next step in their faith through baptism with Pastor Caesar.

What made the moment even more special was that Chloe and Chris weren’t originally scheduled to be baptized, but in the middle of it all happening they felt God leading then to take that step too, joining in a powerful moment with the rest of the family. There is nothing more powerful than watching lives transformed and hearts fully surrendered to Jesus.

Baptism isn’t about having it all together. It’s about saying yes to Jesus and declaring your faith publicly. If you’ve been thinking about getting baptized, we’d love to celebrate that moment with you too.

Whenever you’re ready, we’re ready. Your next step could be the beginning of a beautiful new chapter. 💙🙏
