🚨 URGENT: PIHL JV & Varsity Hockey Players Needed! 🚨

We are extending registration until June 14, 2026, as we are looking for a few more players to complete our PIHL JV and Varsity rosters for the upcoming season.

After June 14, registrations will close and no additional players will be accepted. Teams must be declared to PIHL on June 15, 2026.

Our new Head Coach, Ben Cunningham, is excited and eager to build competitive JV and Varsity squads this season!

🏒 Middle School Families: Due to low enrollment numbers, we are exploring a combined 14U team with Ringgold in the Alpha League. Since this would not be a PIHL team, any player is eligible to register for this option. If a team cannot be formed, all registration fees will be fully refunded.

Warriors Hockey is proud to announce our new Head Coach, Ben Cunningham!

Coach Ben brings over 20 years of hockey experience and a deep passion for player development. Born in Morgantown, West Virginia, Ben currently resides in Harrison City, Pennsylvania.

His youth hockey career included playing throughout the Pittsburgh area with organizations such as the Allegheny Badgers, Pittsburgh Vipers, Steel City Ice Renegades 12U “2001”, Armstrong Arrows, Pittsburgh Selects AAA, and Pittsburgh Vengeance 16U AAA.
Coach Ben went on to play more than 150 junior hockey games over five seasons. His rookie season (2018–19) included time with the New England Stars (NA3HL), Potomac Patriots (USPHL), and Kingsville Kings (GMHL).

Junior Hockey Career
2019–20: Kingsville Kings (GMHL) & L/A Nordiques (NA3HL)
2020–21: Elmira Jr. Enforcers (USPHL)
2021–22: Norwich Sea Captains (NA3HL) & Pittsburgh Vengeance (USPHL)
2022–23: St. George Ravens (GMHL)

Following his junior career, Coach Ben joined the Pittsburgh River Monsters of the UHL/APHL Senior “A” Semi-Pro League, which later became the Iron City Forge for the next two seasons.
During the 2024–25 season, he earned a call-up to the Dashers Hockey Club of the Federal Prospects Hockey League, signing a four-game professional tryout contract. He began the 2025–26 season with the Forge and was selected to participate in the inaugural APHL All-Star Game in Lexington, Kentucky. After the Forge folded late in the season, he finished the year with the Ridgetown Royals in Ontario.

Coach Ben also serves as Head Coach and Advisor for Northeast Selects, where he coordinates spring and summer teams competing in high-profile showcases for exposure opportunities at the 13U–18U and junior levels.

In addition, Coach Ben offers one-on-one lessons, group clinics, and ID skates for players interested in Northeast Selects programs.
Coach Ben plans to help guide Warriors players through the hockey development process using his own playing experiences and the many connections he has built throughout his career. His goal is to help players advance to higher levels, including AAA, prep school, junior hockey, college hockey, and minor professional hockey.

Warriors Hockey is happy to announce that registration for the 26-27 Ice Hockey Season is now open for players interested in playing for Elizabeth Forward Warriors Middle and High School teams.

Please register as soon as possible to get your player on our contact list so we can begin planning for the 2026-2027 season!

This registration is open to Middle School and High School students who attend one of our co-op school districts (Elizabeth Forward, McKeesport, Serra Catholic, Frazier and Greensburg Central Catholic, John Marshall)

Players must be in at least 6th grade and be at the youngest a 2014 birth year to play for our Middle School team.

When you register, you will be required to submit a $250 commitment fee. This fee will be applied to your tuition and is non-refundable unless we are unable to field a team at your level. Once the teams are set you will receive a followup link to set up your tuition payment plan through Sportsengine.

Tentative Tuition costs for 2026-2027 season is as follows:

· Varsity - $2600

· Junior Varsity - $2400

· Middle School - $2100

· Full time Goalie's pay 1/2 of the level's full Tuition cost

· We also offer a 25% multi player discount for families with siblings playing.

The above numbers are the maximum anticipated tuition cost. Actual costs will be dependent on how many players register. Last season we were able to offer tuition at a lower rate and we hope to be able to offer the same this season. Amount of registrants will also determine if we will field teams at each level offered and the cost associated with each level
