Hold onto your hats! This weekend is going to be a windy one.

With the upcoming nor'easter predicted on Saturday, the weather forecasts are also predicting extremely strong winds starting at 2pm on Friday (09/25) - the day of our planned showcase. Because of this, we have decided to postpone the event until Friday, October 2nd from 4pm - 6pm. I apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause, but we are hoping this decision will be most safe for everyone involved.

You can RSVP for the new date by visiting www.gwbpt.org/events

Stay safe!

Last month, we gathered at our community garden on Hough Ave. for our first Garden Showcase event. Members of our community came together to view the garden, learn what's growing, and enjoy conversation over shared food and drinks made with garden fresh ingredients.

Join us for our next Garden Showcase THIS FRIDAY! September 25th from 4pm - 6pm at 75 Ridge Ave. We will open the gates and welcome any guests who are interested in learning more or meeting new people! This event is free to the public, but please RSVP by visiting: https://www.groundworkbridgeport.org/events

Thank you to our most recent group of volunteers who helped restore our garden on Wood Avenue! 🪏

For the past two weeks, we met here on Weeding Wednesdays to w**d, plant, and spread mulch to beautify this space and finish the season strong. We hope you will join us for a future Weeding Wednesday as we continue to beautify green spaces across Bridgeport. Visit the link in our bio or www.gwbpt.org/events for more information.
