Good times

MYOscars 2012 was an incredible night for teens from all over the Greater Bridgeport Area! Held at the Bijou Theatre, this “red-carpet” event highlighted the top five films of the year, as voted on by area youth. The films included Friends With Benefits, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 1, New Year’s Eve and Bridesmaids. In addition to watching clips from the movies that showcased relationship, the night was filled with performances from tango dancers, spoken word artist Kyle Brooks, Double Up Dance Crew, and skits from the MYO AmeriCorps Members. The winner of this year’s MYO Rated R Film of the Year Award went to New Year’s Eve for what’s real, responsible, respectful, and right in relationships. We had a fun night!
