We were pleased to welcome Connecticut elected officials to our training center today, where they gained insight into fire life safety and toured our facility. Special thanks to Mike Keon from ITI and Phil Montuori from NEMI for their engaging presentations and demonstrations of the fire life safety trailer.

On Monday, we welcomed the Dutchess BOCES HVAC class for a field trip.

This day was full of educating the students on what a union is, what benefits we offer, and how our apprenticeship works.

Everyone also had the chance to fabricate a project. Great job!

“What does it mean to you to be a local 38 apprentice?”.

“Being a union apprentice means a lot to me, but mainly it means trying my best. Whether I'm at work or school, I believe it's my obligation to put in my best effort. This includes participating in union events such as labor walks. Joining the union was the best decision I've ever made; considering the positive impact it's had on me, I think it would be unfair not to try my best in every situation I'm put in”. - Mike Murray.
