⚾ Big things happening at the SCF baseball field this summer! ⚾

While our Manatees are in the off-season, our baseball field is getting a major upgrade to get ready for fall! Crews are hard at work installing new irrigation and drainage systems, laying fresh artifcial turf on the infield, and putting down new sod on the outfield.

Up in the press box, we're also adding new windows and custom cabinetry to give it a fresh, updated look.

These improvements are all part of our ongoing commitment to providing top-notch facilities for our programs. We'll keep you posted as the season approaches — stay tuned for more updates! 🏗️

Maverick the Manatee would like to extend a very warm welcome to the newest residents in town: Sorbet and Juneau!

These two young manatees just moved into the Parker Manatee Rehabilitation Habitat at The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature, continuing their recovery after being rescued as orphans this past winter.

Maverick knows a thing or two about being a beloved local manatee, so he's rolling out the (sea)welcome mat for his newest neighbors. SCF is proud to be part of a community that shows up for our local wildlife — go say hi to Sorbet and Juneau at The Bishop! 🌊

🚗 Big shoutout to the Shark Tooth Sports Car Club and their Target Masters crew for handing out scholarships to two — Luke Hamilton, headed to SCF to study Mechanical Engineering, and Alexis “Lexi” Karajman, who completed dual enrollment at SCF before pursuing her Occupational Therapy dreams at USF.

Groups like this are a reminder that investing in students is a community-wide effort, and we're grateful for neighbors who show up for the next generation. 🎓
