and provides weekly speakers on current and relevant topics. A better way of life... a better Bradenton. On August 22, 1922, the Manatee River Kiwanis Club was chartered by Kiwanis International. The Club later changed its name to the Kiwanis Club of Bradenton. Since 1922, we have built a reputation for seeking out what needs to be done to help our children and our community, working together and

making each project a reality. Our members are community leaders who proudly believe our organization is the absolute best opportunity to get engaged in the community and make a positive difference.

A big thank you to the students from Easterseals Southwest Florida who helped prepare Kiwanis Hall throughout the school year.

Before many of our weekly meetings, these students were hard at work setting tables, hanging banners, preparing flags, and helping make sure everything was ready for our members and guests.

Along the way, they gained valuable workplace and life skills while building confidence through hands-on experience at the Manatee Performing Arts Center.

We appreciate the time, effort, and positive attitude they brought to our club throughout the year and wish them all the best as they head into summer and future opportunities. đź’™

đź’™ Kiwanis in the Community đź’™

Our Student Leadership Programs continue to make a real impact across Manatee County through service projects, donations, volunteer work, and community partnerships. Here are just a few of the latest updates…

🌟Kinnan K-Kids (Kinnan Elementary and PTO) recently organized projects supporting local firefighters, the Humane Society, and food collection efforts.

🌟Braden River Middle School’s Builders Club (Braden River Middle School) volunteered during community events, collected toys for Mothers Helping Mothers, and raised funds through their “Penny Wars” project benefiting Mayor’s Feed the Hungry.

🌟Students from Palma Sola Elementary School and Stewart Elementary also worked together on a teddy bear drive supporting local children’s hospitals, collecting hundreds of teddy bears for children in need.

We’re proud to see these students stepping up, helping others, and representing the heart of service in our community.
