Bradenton Kiwanis meets every Tuesday in Kiwanis Hall on the 2nd floor of the Manatee Performing Arts Center. The meeting begins at 12 p.m.

and provides weekly speakers on current and relevant topics. A better way of life... a better Bradenton. On August 22, 1922, the Manatee River Kiwanis Club was chartered by Kiwanis International. The Club later changed its name to the Kiwanis Club of Bradenton. Since 1922, we have built a reputation for seeking out what needs to be done to help our children and our community, working together and making each project a reality. Our members are community leaders who proudly believe our organization is the absolute best opportunity to get engaged in the community and make a positive difference.

Our young leaders are already getting to work! 💙

Following their recent K-Kids and Builders Club induction ceremony, students discussed their project to create 300 Halloween cards for retirement communities and homebound parishioners. They're also planning to collect items for local food pantries.

Along with these activities, K-Kids members at Kinnan Elementary and PTO and Gilbert W McNeal Elementary School celebrated their own induction ceremonies, led by Judge Melissa Gould.

We're proud of these students for stepping up to serve others and excited to see what their clubs accomplish this school year!

Congratulations to our very own Judge Gilbert Smith Jr.! 👏

Gilbert was recognized in the Author category at the inaugural Manatee County Preservation & Heritage Awards on October 24 for his work documenting the history of the legal profession in Manatee County.

The awards recognize individuals who have made meaningful contributions to preserving our community's history and heritage.

We're proud to see one of our fellow Kiwanians receive this well-deserved recognition! 💙

These handmade cards come with a whole lot of appreciation! ❤️🇺🇸

Students from Gilbert W McNeal Elementary School's K-Kids Club are preparing special thank-you cards for veterans attending our November 10 Veterans Recognition Luncheon.

We're proud of these young students for taking part in such a meaningful gesture! 💙

Congratulations to the 32 students who were officially inducted into Palma Sola Elementary School's K-Kids Club on October 8! 💙

During the ceremony, Judge Ed Nicholas spoke to students about the importance of kindness, service, and helping others before leading the new members in the K-Kids pledge.

We're excited to see these young leaders put those values into action throughout the school year!

Welcome to the Kiwanis family, K-Kids! 💙

💙 Kiwanis in the Community 💙

We’re proud to see more than 100 Key Club members come together for the 2026 Zone H Key Club Kickoff Conference at the Manatee Performing Arts Center!

Students from Manatee, Sarasota, and Charlotte counties spent the day building leadership skills, connecting with fellow Key Club members, and learning more about membership and community service.

Even better, the conference was student-run with support and guidance from adult leaders.

A special shoutout to Ava Macy, Lieutenant Governor for Divisions 17 & 18, for her work organizing and leading such a successful conference. Great job to everyone involved! 💙

Every child deserves access to programs that help them learn, grow, and feel supported.

That’s why Bradenton Kiwanis continues investing in local before- and after-school programs serving students across Manatee County.

We’re grateful for the educators, staff, volunteers, and community partners who make these programs possible each day. 💙
