Challenge Mountain Enrich lives and empower people living with disabilities through adaptive recreation.

Established in 1984 as a non-profit organization, Challenge Mountain was the first independent adaptive skiing program in northern Michigan. Today, Challenge Mountain offers adaptive recreational and social opportunities that continue to enrich lives and empower individuals living with disabilities. Each year, Challenge Mountain connects children, youth and adults living with disabilities through

adaptive skiing, equine therapy, ropes challenge course, adaptive biking, sailing and SPIRIT Day Camp. Individuals of all ages and abilities can take part in Challenge Mountain’s programs at no cost, including those living with physical, cognitive and developmental disabilities.

Everyone deserves the ability to flex their creative side. Challenge Mountain's Creative Arts Studio engages youth and adults with disabilities through various artistic forms. Our partnerships with local organizations such as Crooked Tree Arts Center - Petoskey, ensure we can meet that goal. 🎨 🎭 🎸

This fall, we are excited to offer three different artistic classes: Art Speaks! Adults with Disabilities Art Class, Music & Rhythm, and Adaptive Arts & Movement.
