Truth. Join a local club and state association to keep trails open and safe.
So much goes on behind the scenes you have no idea about. We are filling out long state DNR grant application forms in June for the next season. Brushing and signing throughout the fall. Your state association works year round in Lansing keeping an eye on legislation and funds. It's easy to sit back and be a keyboard warrior complaining. Take that energy when available and get involved to make a positive difference.

We will be going again next Saturday October 10th at 10 am at the clubhouse. I'll put out more information Friday.

Leave a legacy!!!

Before You Sell Your Land… Consider Leaving a Trail Legacy

Did you know that before selling your property, you may have the opportunity to sell a permanent snowmobile trail easement?

A permanent easement can help protect an important trail connection even if the property changes ownership in the future.

Since 2003, the Snow Country Trails Conservancy (SCTC) has worked to help secure permanent snowmobile trail access across Michigan. More than 200 miles of permanent trail have already been protected.

If a snowmobile trail crosses your property—or your property could provide an important connection—there may be another option besides simply losing that access when the land is sold.

Sell the land. Leave the trail. Preserve the ride.

Before you put that property on the market, talk with SCTC and learn whether a permanent snowmobile trail easement could be an option.

Your property could become part of Michigan's snowmobiling legacy for generations to come. Contact MISORVA for more information! 616.361.2285
