We have officially embarked on our newest project site out in the stunning, incredibly mountainous region of West Pokot.

Operating in a remote area like Sebit comes with its own challenges, but our team is already at it. Our dedicated access road is ready to safely transport our heavy equipment and materials right across the river.

With camp set up and excavation officially underway, the groundwork is laid. Construction on this 40-meter suspension bridge officially kicks off this week, and the entire team is incredibly excited to bring this bridge to life!

But true celebration also requires reflection on the realities still faced on the ground:

👍 Communities still walking miles just to access basic necessities.

👍 Children still risking their lives crossing dangerous, raging rivers to get to school.

👍 Families still disconnected from isolation for weeks or even months at a time.

Africa’s prosperous future must include safe access for everyone.

We have recently launched a landmark economic impact study in the communities we serve!

While we’ve always known our trail bridges save lives, we are diving deep into the data to measure exactly how they transform local economies, tracking real changes in household income, new business activity, and family expenditure patterns.

We are officially midway through our fieldwork, and the energy on the ground is incredible. We are so excited about the preliminary insights and truly can’t wait to share more info on why these bridges matter so much for long-term rural development.
