The Black Swamp Ice Frogs – NON-CONTACT Special Needs Hockey Program

The world of hockey can be fast paced and competitive often leaving individuals with developmental challenges off the ice and the team. With the Ice Frogs, players with developmental challenges are no longer sitting in the stands watching others play. Ice Frog players only need to have the desire to be on our team. There are no

skill requirements to participate, and players are encouraged to learn at their own speed to score their goals. Players are now ABLE to experience the thrill of hockey and be a part of the hockey community. Every player has the opportunity to learn at their own speed in a safe environment. Players learn:
Good sportsmanship
Working with their teammates
How to skate
How to hold a stick
How to take shots and score goals
How to play hockey
