After Longmont lost access to a private airport shuttle, RTD is proposing a Clean Transit Enterprise (CTE) funded SkyRide route to fill the gap. This new service would restore a reliable, public transit connection to DIA for residents across Longmont, Niwot, and Lafayette.

Ride for zero fare on RTD FlexRide in Broomfield this summer! ☀️🚌☀️

FlexRide in Broomfield Zero Fare Summer makes RTD FlexRide free to ride in June, July, and August. FlexRide provides flexible, local transportation for residents of all ages and abilities in Broomfield and Interlocken.

The Broomfield North FlexRide is now combined into one service area with Broomfield FlexRide, connecting to new destinations, including Rock Creek Medical Center, Orchard Town Center in Westminster, and the US 36 Broomfield and Flatiron bus stations, and now expands Saturday service to north Broomfield residents.

View routes and book rides at Broomfield.org/FlexRide or call 303-299-6000. Language assistance is available by request.

Route 228 is a daily connection for workers commuting across the region, students traveling to BVSD schools, and seniors who rely on transit for essential trips.

RTD has proposed eliminating the route in Fall 2026. Make your voice heard by attending the June 22 or June 24 public meetings or emailing RTD with your feedback. With the feedback deadline scheduled for July 8, community participation is essential.

The Town of Erie has launched a FREE microtransit service, the Erie Bee, designed to make getting around the town easier, more flexible, and more convenient for residents and visitors. The service supports a wide range of trips including commuting to work or school, running errands, attending appointments, and more!

The Erie Bee is made possible through a grant from the Denver Regional Council of Governments, and is managed in partnership with Via Mobility Services. Learn more at

RTD is proposing a new SkyRide bus connecting Longmont to Denver International Airport, funded through the Clean Transit Enterprise (CTE) grant. Service is proposed hourly from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and will serve Lafayette and, Erie[GU3.1] If you travel between Longmont or Lafayette and DIA, this proposal could directly affect your options. Commuting Solutions hosted our June Membership Meeting today, and it was a fantastic and engaging conversation!
We explored a range of timely topics, including a recap of the recent legislative session, insights into the state budget, updates on the RTD Board Reform Bill implementation, and a look ahead at potential November ballot initiatives.

Join us on 🗓 June 24 🗓 for Bike to Work Day! Celebrate this free, fun annual event hosted by Way to Go, a program of the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG), in partnership with Commuting Solutions and eight regional transportation management associations.

Commuting Solutions will be hosting a breakfast station in partnership with the City and County of Broomfield at Interlocken East Park. Stop by to refuel, connect with fellow riders, and celebrate the benefits of biking.

Route 287 (Formerly LD3) is increasing frequency to every 30 minutes during morning and afternoon peak periods, between US 36 & Broomfield Station and Lafayette Park-n-Ride.

The route had been renamed from LD3 to Route 287 to clearly distinguish it from the regional LD1 service.

This change improves frequency and reliability for local/community riders between Longmont and US 36 & Broomfield Station.
