Bolton Majors A wins their third straight MAC League Championship!!!! We couldn't be more proud of all the hard work these players and coaches put into the season. They went undefeated and beat Townsend Ashby Majors Black 10-0 in the Championship Finals tonight.

Jackson "Sandy" Santos struck out 11 batters and only allowed three hits. Lead off hitter Nicky "NuNu" Beyranevand went 3 for 3 at the plate. And Drew Dixon blasted one into CF to bring in the run that won it all - video below. Pictures in comments.

Majors A consisted of players that contributed to every single game. Head Coach Randy McLaughlin handed out the trophies during the awards ceremony and gave a speech about each player and their contribution to this successful season - a touching tribute to a team that brought home the third straight title.

Bolton Majors 70B Claim an 8-5 Victory Over Lancaster Blue in the MAC League Quarterfinals

Bolton was the first on the board in the 1st inning when Jack McBreen homered to right field, scoring three runs. They added another run in the 2nd inning after Liam Brennan flew out, knocking in an RBI.

Lancaster Blue tied the game in the top of the fifth thanks to an error, and a double by Andrew Soldi.

Bolton took the lead, 8-4, in the bottom of the 5th thanks to singles by Evan Eaddy, Callum Cabral and Brody Snyder.

Jack earned the win for Bolton, giving up three hits and one run over two innings, striking out five and walking two. Sam Bradbury stepped on the bump first for Bolton. The starting pitcher allowed three hits and one run over three and one-third innings, striking out two and walking one. Andrew stepped on the mound first for Lancaster Blue. The starting pitcher allowed one hit and four runs (three earned) over one and two-thirds innings, striking out none and walking four. Tommy Bradica appeared in relief for Bolton in-between Sam and Jack.

Jack drove the middle of the lineup, leading Bolton with three runs batted in and went 1-for-2 on the day. Brody and Evan each collected two hits. Bolton had patience at the plate, tallying eight walks for the game. Jackson Daelhousen and Callum led the team with two bases on balls each. Collectively the team tallied 12 stolen bases for the game.

NEXT UP: Semi-Finals Wednesday night 5:45 at Thayer Field in Lancaster against Lancaster Red. Join us in cheering these boys on!!!!

Congrats to Bolton 10U Green for winning the Wachusett Softball Association 10U Championship this weekend. They battled through the heat. Crushed the ball. Relentless on the base paths. And always ready in the field when the ball came to them. Everyone contributed to the championship!

They won 15-0 and 13-0 in pool play games on Friday and Saturday. They were the #1 seed overall. In eliminations today they were able to beat Bolton White in a great game. Then beat leominster zapka 11-6 in semi-finals and leominster Barrett 13-1 in the finals. Great job girls.

The Nashoba Softball 10U Travel team made it all the way to the championship game in the Franklin Heroes and Hitters tournament over the weekend. 7 of the 11 team members are in the Bolton REC program. They went 2-1 in pool play, beating the Medway Mustangs and the Franklin Fury. In elims, they Beat the Cumberland RI stone crabs in extra innings and went extras again in the final game, all the way to the 8th inning, against the Billerica Braves and came up just one run short. We had no expectations going into our first tournament, but the girls did amazing. They played through the rain all day Sunday. So proud of all of them.
