Another busy day at Camp Resolute today. Hammer Crew bucked and split wood. Rest of the volunteers cleaned all fire pits, set up cots at day camp craft building, and took over the splitting. Thanks to NHC Dick, Bruce, and Pete. Resolute Engineers Tom, Bill, and Chris, and volunteers Ken, Brandon, CRAA president Chris, and David S a scout from T1 Hopkinton.

Don't forget our work day at Resolute tomorrow starting at 8:30AM - we need to set up ADC craft building to be ready for off season rentals, clean and repair firepits, and Hammer Crew folks will be coming to cut and split more wood. we will provide lunch, so please RSVP. We will be rain or shine - come dressed appropriately.

There will be no OA Induction Weekend at Resolute this summer but that doesn't mean we don't have work to do to prepare for fall. Join camp alumni, Resolute Units, and the Resolute Engineers as we prepare for a busy fall. We have plenty of hand tools, and if adults have access to leaf blowers, these...

Great day with Nobscot Hammer Crew today building new fire pits, bucking up wood, and splitting. Big thanks to Mike L, John, Mike S, Dick, Rick, Ken, Bruce, Ian, and Res Engineers Tom, Bill, and Chris for a full day’s work. Mike S cleaned tent platforms and helped me dismantle old benches at Apache. We even helped the Bolton town Rec move their soccer nets to the parking lot so their DPW can pick them up.

We have been repairing fire pits to correct the innovations of our users. Removed this from Kiowa north-broken cinder blocks and the pavers taken from supporting tent platforms . Replaced most with rocks, need to gather more.

We pick up pieces of broken cinder blocks everywhere. Kids like to smash them!!

Just a reminder about our work day Saturday August 22. We will start some projects tomorrow with the Hammer Crew and finish Saturday to get camp sites ready for off season rentals.

There will be no OA Induction Weekend at Resolute this year, but that doesn't mean there isn't work to do. Tent sites are in need of cleanup, including firepits. We need to cut and split firewood for our unit rentals as well. We plan to build 2 new firepits to replace half barrels. Units - adopt your favorite site and get it ready for fall!
Cutters must be BSA Chainsaw trained and we have 1 spitter, possibly a 2nd.

Lunch will be provided.

Cleaned and split wood at the rifle range today. There were 5 of these little guys under and between layers of the tarp. The Indian peace pipe was trying to grow under some of logs.

Temporary fix on the shattered basketball backboard. Now to figure out how much a new glass one would cost cause that’s what Al Williamson would want. By the way, looking at this photo it clearly looks like vandalism. We thought it was from hanging on the hoop but the hole is above the connection to the backboard
