⛳ Registration is NOW OPEN for the Hudson AMVETS Post 208 2nd Annual Golf Tournament!

Join us on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Berlin Country Club for a great day of golf while supporting two important programs: Home Alone for the Holidays and the Fishing Derby for Hospitalized Veterans.

Tournament Details:
• 8:00 AM Shotgun Start
• 18-Hole Scramble
• Berlin Country Club
• $125 per player
• $500 per team

Registration Includes:
• 18 holes of golf
• Golf cart
• Tournament gift bag
• Food voucher for Lalo's Mexican Food Truck
• Access to our post-tournament celebration

After the tournament, head back to Hudson AMVETS Post 208 for an afternoon of:
• Live music
• Raffles and prizes
• Lalo's Mexican Food Truck
• Great food and community fellowship

The post-tournament celebration begins at approximately 1:00 PM and is open to the public.

Register in advance at Hudson AMVETS Post 208, or sign up on the day of the event during registration from 11:00 AM–12:00 PM.

Supporting Veterans in Our Community

Proceeds from this tournament help fund our annual Fishing Derby for Hospitalized Veterans, one of Hudson AMVETS Post 208's most cherished traditions.

Each year, we bus hospitalized veterans from facilities throughout Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire to the Hudson Rod & Gun Club for a day of fishing, fellowship, fresh air, and great food.

🎣 The pond is specially stocked with fish for the event.
🍔 Volunteers provide a BBQ meal for all participating veterans.
🎣 Volunteers are available throughout the day to bait hooks and assist veterans who need a helping hand.

This event gives veterans an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, connect with others, and create lasting memories in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Our mission is simple: Support Veterans. Serve Our Community. Build Connection.

AMVETS Post 208 is currently seeking sponsors and raffle prize donations for our Second Annual Golf Scramble, taking place on August 29, 2026, at the Berlin Country Club.

Proceeds from this event help support veterans in our community through two of our most impactful programs:

• Home Alone for the Holidays – For more than 20 years, we've provided free Thanksgiving and Christmas meals to veterans, seniors, first responders, and community members who would otherwise spend the holidays alone or are unable to prepare a holiday meal for themselves. During Thanksgiving and Christmas 2025 alone, our volunteers cooked and distributed more than 1,000 meals throughout Hudson and surrounding communities.

• Fishing Derby for Hospitalized Veterans – A long-standing tradition that provides veterans from local hospitals with a day of camaraderie, relaxation, fresh air, food, entertainment, and fishing.
