Our mission is to foster understanding, respect, and collaboration between families and the Hudson Public School District to improve the educational experience of students with disabilities. We work together to form a positive, solution-driven community of parents and caregivers of children receiving special education services in Hudson. We invite you to come to our meetings. Our meetings are open

and we welcome new members. Learn about the Special Education services offered at each of the Hudson Public Schools. Become a better advocate for your child. Meet other parents with similar concerns for their children’s needs. Improve Hudson resources for children with special needs. Understand effective ways for parents and educators to work together

The 2026 Making A Difference Award

Each year, we invite families to nominate an HPS staff member who has made a positive impact on their child receiving special education services within our district. We were truly moved by the overwhelming number of heartfelt nominations submitted this year.

We are proud to honor two individuals with the SEPAC Hudson Making A Difference Award. In addition, every nominee will receive a Certificate of Recognition in appreciation of their dedication and commitment to students.

We are pleased to announce The 2026 Making A Difference Award winners:

Rebecca Appel- Hudson High School
