Bolivar will be hopping on Saturday Sept 12 - there are a lot of wonderful events and sales at our local businesses happening that day. From the Polk County Bike ride, Sew & Sew Quilt Guild show in the courthouse basement, Kids Create craft show, Community Outreach vendor fair and bounce houses to the Dunnegan Estate Octoberfest.

We invite you to kick off your Saturday the 12th at Country Days featuring Music, B**r in the Alley, Food, Car Show, Craft and Informational Vendors and plenty of free kid activities. We open at 9am and party until 4pm.
If you are hosting an event that day go ahead and add your information in the comment section and show everyone why this is the Best, Biggest, Little Party in Town.

We're ready to have a BLAST at this year's Celebration of Freedom on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Southwest Baptist University, as we celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

5:30 p.m.: Kids' Bike Parade (sponsored by the City of Bolivar)
5:30-9 p.m.: Food sold by local non-profit organizations
6-7:45 p.m.: Music by Nashville recording artists Karli & James.
8 p.m.: Veterans' recognition program with featured speaker Retired Sgt. Dan Bunch, U.S. Army
9:20 p.m.: Fireworks Extravaganza

Spring has sprung which means it's time to sign up for a booth space at County Days! Sign ups begin this Friday and Saturday (April 17 & 18) Applications will be taken every Friday & Saturday 10am-2pm until we are sold out. Location for booth sign up is the Genealogy Library on the southeast corner of the square.

Cash or Check only! Non Profit $40, For Profit $45, for electric add $5 (very limited) Food is $75. Spaces are 10x10.
