The Moving Missouri Forward Foundation was created by former First Lady Teresa Parson as a non-profit entity to support children across our state.

Baseball games will be starting soon... The Moving MO Forward Foundation was able to assist the Central Missouri Homeschool baseball organization in replacing poles for a newly installed backstop netting and updates to their field. Many children will have the chance to play on this field as they learn fundamentals of the game and build character, for years to come.

The students from Kingdom Crusaders homeschool coop are thankful for the grant they received from MMFF. They have a new computer to study graphic design, use the 3D printer, and will utilize for creating their yearbook. A large dry-erase board is used weekly in class and added playground equipment adds fun to their day.
During this season of Thanksgiving may we all remember to have an attitide of gratitude.

Faith Bridge of Moberly was another grant recipient who are helping children in foster care. The Foundation provided funds for purchasing backpacks, socks & underwear, adaptative clothing and hygiene items. Funds also assist with haircuts and styling as a help with their dignity and self-esteem.
Andie Jamerson and her team support foster families by helping to meet needs of the children to feel safe, valued and seen.

The Creative Therapy Center provides music and dance therapy and art classes to people with developmental disabilities in southwest Missouri. A Foundation grant allowed the purchase of additional art and clinic supplies, in addition to a new electronic drum set and handheld instruments. These programs help recognize that each person has abilities, if given an opportunity!

This week we were able to help celebrate the grant funds donated to Camp Barnabas, in southwest Missouri. The MMFF was a partner providing funding for their new 3-story, all-accessible, zipline. This exciting addition is more than just a ride, it represents adventure, confidence, and joy for every camper.
Camp Barnabas is providing camp experiences and recognizing abilities instead of disabilities while discovering a sense of belonging and purpose for so many.

Tuesday is the second annual Wild Game dinner at the Mansion to support First Lady Teresa Parson 's initiatives of helping children across the state. Buffet and entertainment will be included with your ticket and an auction also will be available. Thanks for Jim Dyke's cartoon to help promote Ruby Leigh.
