Glocal Community Partners

Last week, members of our Glocal team had the honor of attending the Refugee Highway Partnership NA Roundtable in Tijuana! 🇲🇽

A special shoutout to Nick and Laura, who served on the RHP leadership team and poured so much heart into planning and hosting this incredible event. Joined by a few other team members, it was a powerful time filled with rich networking, deep connections, and uplifting one another through challenging times.

We left Tijuana feeling so grateful—encouraged, inspired, and better equipped to walk alongside our friends navigating the harsh realities of forced displacement here in America.

Help us keep the furniture moving! 🛻✨

Right now, our furniture delivery truck is officially on its last legs—and to keep bringing essential items to families who need them, we urgently need a replacement.

We’re looking for a 1/2-ton or larger truck (with a towing hitch) in reliable, road-ready condition.

Got a lead, a donor, or a vehicle sitting in your driveway looking for a good home? Drop a comment or send us a DM! (And please give this a quick share to help spread the word!)

On Saturday, we were humbled by the privilege of hosting a clothing giveaway, where we had the incredible opportunity to serve over 500 former refugees from 16 different nationalities! It was only possible thanks to the generosity of an amazing donor, the dedication of our selfless volunteers, and the support of King of Glory Lutheran Church. We're forever grateful to each and every one of them!

We are in need of volunteers for our clothing giveaway tomorrow (8/22)!👕 Feel free to drop by King of Glory Church in Boise anytime between 4-8pm to help. Thank you!

Congress needs to hear that our neighborhoods, schools, and workplaces are fuller because immigrants and refugees are part of them. We're asking Congress to protect the families who make that possible. Join us and We Are All America by reaching out to Congress this week!
