During summer months, Bogus Basin offers lift access to some of Idaho's best mountain biking trails. Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area, located 16.5 miles north of downtown Boise, is a short drive from the airport and surrounding communities. Since 1942, Bogus Basin has been offering family-friendly mountain recreation for generations of enthusiasts. The non-profit recreation area offers 2,600

acres of daytime skiable terrain and 165 acres for night skiing and riding; seven lifts and three people-mover carpets; and an 800-foot tubing hill. A hidden gem, the area boasts 91 named runs, an 1800 foot vertical drop, and a Nordic center that offers 37 kilometers of groomed trail for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. And - you don't want to miss the most spectacular views around.

🚨 ATTENTION RIDERS 🚨

A large section of Around the Mountain is closed until further notice while construction is underway on the Pine Creek side of the mountain. 🚧

Riders traveling on Around the Mountain will be rerouted up to Deer Point Trail, where you can reconnect with the rest of the cross-country trail network. 🚵‍♀️➡️🌲

Please follow all posted closure and reroute signage while work is underway. ⚠️

For the most current trail conditions and updates, download the Ullr app. 📲

We’ll share an update as soon as construction is complete and this section can reopen.
