From January through May, 90 households across the Treasure Valley have opened the door to a home of their own.

What does home look like?

Sometimes it looks like this drawing, made by a kid who no longer has to wonder where they'll sleep tomorrow, who finally has a safe place to call their own, with art on the walls and room to dream about what comes next.

From January through May, 85 children across the Treasure Valley exited homelessness through CATCH's programs.

Thank you for making that possible.

Their families did the hard work, the applications, the budgeting, the showing up on the weeks that asked everything of them. And this community was right there the whole way. Every gift, every hour, every time you believed this was possible, you helped open the door to home.

The quiet click when the key turns.

Most of us never think about that sound. We come home, the lock gives, we walk inside. But for a family who hasn't had a home of their own in months, that small click is the sound of everything changing.

180 of our Treasure Valley neighbors have opened the door to home. From January through May.

Their resilience carried them through the hard work: job applications and budgeting sessions, showing up to meet a case manager on the weeks that felt impossible, choosing to keep going when starting over asked everything of them.

And this community was right there with them. Every gift, every hour, every time you believed this was possible, you helped turn a key. You helped a family build a future filled with hope.

Ryan spent much of his life learning how to keep going.

A single father who moved to Idaho with his one-month-old daughter, he did everything he could to build a life for them both. When the foundation gave way, he and his daughter spent nights in his car and in hotels while he searched for anything that could work. He kept looking for the next right step, and his love for his daughter was the reason he never stopped.

At CATCH, his effort was finally met with support and a chance to exhale. Monthly meetings, goals set together, a team that asked how he was doing, not just whether the rent was paid. In his words, "It's more like a family."

Today Ryan and his daughter are thriving. He is building toward homeownership again, and his daughter is able to stay in the same school with the same friends, rooted in the life she knew while her father rebuilt.

Ryan never stopped. Our community made sure he did not have to do it alone.
