A safe, supportive space where new moms can grow, learn, and connect while navigating the joys and challenges of motherhood.

Wow! This past Saturday, October 3rd, more than 180 new and expecting mothers and their families gathered at the Miami Springs Lions Club for our FIRST Miami Community Baby Shower & Wellness Fair! 🥰🎉

It was a beautiful day of love, connection, education, and community support. Our goal was to help families feel more informed, confident, and empowered; and we’re proud to have brought that vision to life!🙏🏽✨

Families learned about the importance of breastfeeding, early autism recognition, the role of doulas, and important maternal health topics, including preeclampsia, high blood pressure, preterm delivery, and postpartum depression.

They also enjoyed games, raffles, refreshments, and a memorable Pregnant Moms Dance Contest led by Preggo Dance® with Dilma Lucia; one of the day’s happiest moments! 💃🏽🎶😂

Thanks to the generosity of more than a dozen community organizations and healthcare partners, families received FREE education, essential baby items, giveaways, and maternal and infant health resources. 🙏🏽

Join us for a FREE, fun, and supportive wellness class designed for pregnant women and mothers with babies! 💕👶

Experience the joy of movement with Preggo Dance® by Dilma Lucia, a gentle, dance-based fitness program created to encourage healthy movement during pregnancy and the postpartum journey. You’ll also learn about baby wearing, including the benefits of safely carrying your baby while staying connected and active.

✨ What to Expect:

* 💃🏽 Gentle, pregnancy-friendly movement with Preggo Dance®
* 🤱 Introduction to baby wearing and its benefits led by Aly M Y

The Preggo Organization for Women (POW) would like to extend our heartfelt THANK YOU to the WIC Program – Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County for being part of our Miami Community Baby Shower & Wellness Fair on Saturday, October 3!

We are so grateful for the wonderful presentation about the benefits of breastfeeding and for educating our moms and families about how the WIC Program works in Miami-Dade County and the valuable resources available to them. 🤱🏽💕

Our moms and all participants were engaged, informed, and truly appreciative of the opportunity to learn more about the support available to them and their growing families.

On behalf of The Preggo Organization for Women (POW), we want to give the biggest THANK YOU to our incredible group of volunteers who gave their time, energy, love, and dedication to make our Miami Community Baby Shower & Wellness Fair such a beautiful success! 🫶🏽✨

This was POW’s FIRST event in Miami, and what an unforgettable beginning! 🎉
We had the honor of welcoming and supporting more than 180 moms, along with their families and community partners.
