We may have been MIA on social media, but behind the scenes the PTO has been BUSY showing love to our amazing staff and students all spring long 💚✨

From celebrating our counselors, paraprofessionals, librarians, secretaries, bus drivers, principals, nurses, band directors, lunch heroes, maintenance team, and teachers… to supporting Open House and prom prizes — we’ve been working hard to make Blue Ridge feel appreciated every step of the way.

📚🌮 Help Us Treat Our Amazing Elementary Teachers! 🌮📚

Open House is coming up on 3/12 and the PTO is putting together a nacho bar to help feed our hardworking teachers! The PTO will provide the meat and queso, but we need a little help bringing the rest of the nacho goodness.

Think chips, toppings, sides, drinks… all the fun extras that make nachos nacho-average meal! 😄

If you’d like to help out, please sign up to bring something. Items can be dropped off in the front office by 3/11.

💚🖤🐯 Counselor Appreciation Week 🐯🖤💚

Last week, we were proud to celebrate National School Counseling Week (February 2–6) and honor the incredible school counselors who support our students’ academic, career, and personal growth every single day.

The 2026 theme, School Counselors Amplify Student Success, perfectly reflects the impact our counselors have across our district. Through guidance, encouragement, and steady support, they help our students navigate challenges, set goals, and grow with confidence.

As a small token of our appreciation, the PTO provided each of our counselors with a plant and a Starbucks gift card to say thank you for the care, wisdom, and quality counsel they provide to our students and school community.

💚🖤🐯 School Board Appreciation 🐯🖤💚

January was School Board Recognition Month, a time when school districts across Texas pause to recognize the dedication and service of their local trustees.

We are incredibly grateful for the time, leadership, and heart our Blue Ridge ISD School Board pours into serving our students, staff, and community. Their work is voluntary, often unseen, and always rooted in doing what’s best for kids.

As a small token of our appreciation, the PTO gifted our board members gift cards to local businesses — Poppy Bean Coffee Co., Creating Roots, and The Twisted Pickle — to say thank you for the countless hours, thoughtful decisions, and steady leadership they provide.

💚🖤🐯 SRO Appreciation 🐯🖤💚

We are so grateful for our School Resource Officer, Officer Pete Copin, and the steady presence he provides on our campus every day.

Officer Pete goes above and beyond to help keep our students, staff, and families safe, and we are thankful for the relationships he builds with our kids and school community.

In appreciation, the PTO was honored to gift Officer Pete a $25 Lowe’s gift card as a small thank-you for the big role he plays in our school.
