Despite our ongoing state of drought, fall is a great time to attract pollinators to North Texas with flowers that bloom in this cooler weather. We love that pollinators find food source on our 400+ acres of Blackland Prairie and we especially love when our guests have a front row seat to this natural process right in front of our Outdoor Education building. Amazing, right?

Our jam-packed Outdoor Education program is underway, but we are always looking for motivated Educators, who love the outdoors!

Collin County Adventure Camp sits on 430 acres of plush forest and Blackland prairie and we serve thousands of elementary school students from the 22 districts in Collin County and beyond.

Our OE Instructors lead trail lessons and activities such as:
Lake Ecology, Canoeing and Fishing, Prairie Ecology, Man and Environment, Forest Ecology, Orienteering, Outdoor Living Skills, Pioneer Adventure, Archery, Conservation Projects, Low Ropes and Living Texas History.

We provide program staff housing and meals!

Facilities were great, counselors were fantastic, beautiful property and the food (and food service) were great as well! Highly impressed and so sad my bigger kids didn’t get to experience it (Covid year). We will for sure be looking into your summer camps!”
