One of the things we're learning at Lilac Rising is that helping women through unexpected hardships is truly a community effort.

We're incredibly grateful to have community partners like O'Brien Kia Bloomington in our corner when a woman needs help getting safely back on the road. Their willingness to take a closer look, prioritize what truly matters, and help us make responsible decisions with limited resources allows us to stretch every dollar further and create meaningful impact.

A special thank you to Andrew Greene, Service Manager, for going above and beyond to help us navigate a recent vehicle repair situation. His thoughtfulness, professionalism, and commitment to finding practical solutions made a real difference.

We're fortunate to live in a community filled with businesses and leaders who understand that sometimes a helping hand at the right moment can change everything that comes after.

We are incredibly grateful to 100 Women for Good: Bloomington-Normal for the opportunity to share the mission of Lilac Rising this evening.

Thank you for believing in the power of local nonprofits, community partnerships, and the women in McLean County who are working hard to move forward through life's unexpected challenges.

🌟 Nonprofit Spotlight: Lilac Rising 🌟

Last but not least, We are excited to introduce Lilac Rising as one of our featured nonprofits for the June 2026 100 Women for Good Bloomington-Normal Member Donation Meeting!

💜 Lilac Rising is dedicated to helping women in McLean County overcome unexpected financial hardships through short-term, one-time assistance. Their support helps women navigate urgent challenges such as:

✨ Car repairs and transportation needs
✨ HVAC and plumbing emergencies
✨ Essential appliance repairs
✨ Other unexpected expenses that can threaten stability

These are often situations that don’t qualify for traditional assistance programs but can have a significant impact on employment, housing, and daily life. By providing timely support, Lilac Rising helps women address immediate needs before they become larger crises.

In addition, Lilac Rising may provide small scholarships to support workforce advancement, certifications, and educational opportunities, helping women build a stronger future for themselves and their families.

Join us on June 1 at Crafted to learn more about the incredible work Lilac Rising is doing in our community and to help determine which nonprofit will receive our collective donation!

We support strange choices here.

On Saturday, October 3rd, the halls of Ewing Manor will once again be an immersive masquerade of tarot, tacos, wine, live theater, music, film, masks, oddities, and beautifully curated chaos… all benefiting Lilac Rising.

This is not your average fundraiser.
It never has been.

It is a gathering for the theatrical, the mysterious, the cinematic, the slightly unhinged, and those who believe Halloween deserves far more reverence than one night in October.

Not a gala.
Not a party.
Certainly not normal.

Just the sort of evening the ladies of Lilac Rising enjoys very much.
