From all of us at Lilac Rising, a HUGE thank you to the incredible Duende Committee for dreaming up, planning, decorating, coordinating, and bringing Duende III to life. You created one unforgettable evening, and we are so grateful for every hour, every detail, and every bit of heart you poured into it.

And to everyone who came out, dressed up, raised a glass, and supported Lilac Rising, THANK YOU.

Yesterday was SUCH a fun day at the Downtown Bloomington Farmers' Market! 💜🥧☕️

We loved getting to meet so many people, share more about Lilac Rising’s mission, talk a little Duende III, and, of course, hand out Thanksgiving pie samples from Common Grounds Cafe & Pie Shop.

And because pie samples deserve a proper sidekick, our friend Coffee Brett from Coffee With Einstein Coffee Co. kept the cold brew flowing! ☕️

This year, let someone else handle dessert! Order a delicious Thanksgiving pie from our wonderful friends at Common Grounds Cafe & Pie Shop and support Lilac Rising at the same time. 💜

Choose from Dutch Apple, Pecan, Pumpkin, or Cherry, then pick up your pie right here in Bloomington at Keg Grove Brewing Company - Bloomington on Tuesday, November 24 from 3–7 PM.

Community partners are what make this work possible. 💜

A huge thank you to Perfection Wheels and Hermes Service and Sales for helping us support three women in just the last couple of weeks.

These partnerships matter because when a car needs repaired or an essential home system stops working, we need trusted local businesses we can call. Businesses we know will answer the phone, understand what we’re trying to accomplish, and work with us to solve the problem quickly. Lilac Rising pays for the services, and our partners provide the expertise that helps us turn that assistance into action.

That relationship allows us to be the bridge, helping a woman get through an unexpected expense without one setback becoming a financial crisis.

We’re incredibly grateful to Perfection Auto and Hermes Service and Sales for being businesses we can count on when the call comes. 💜
