🌲 Wednesday in the Woods 🌲
Our Blairstown Campus forest is home to countless opportunities to observe wildlife in their natural environment…even if they aren’t always warm and cuddly! 🐍
Meet today’s featured forest resident: Nerodia sipedon, also known as the Common Watersnake. While they may look intimidating at first glance, these nonvenomous snakes play an important role in maintaining a healthy ecosystem around our waterways.
Nature always has something fascinating to teach us! 💚
