Rocky is still on a search for his human match.

Rocky is a very well trained dog, that loves being with anyone that'll spend time with him. He's quite the sweet heart, and a volunteer favorite.

Rocky does struggle with kennel anxiety. We believe this could be managed in a home, with people that are willing to work on it with him. As part of our rescue, we have well seasoned trainers that are willing to help our adopters and show them the way.

Phoenix was a stray, back in Sept of 2025, who was humanely trapped & brought to impound for her stray hold. She quickly displayed distrust & was not an easy case at all. Now that she was off the streets, she was not comfortable - but she was safe… but she didn’t know that.

We accepted her into rescue, because that’s what we do… no one else was going to pull a human reactive pittie. But it was the right thing for us to do - with the way we are setup.

Phoenix arrived off transport while we had another trainer visiting us ( .k9s ), and her decompress began over at the facility ( ).

Fast forward to almost a year later, & she is a new dog… and we are so happy to announce that she has been adopted! She is lucky enough to now be part of .k9s pack 🥰

She thanked us by rupturing her CCL a few days before her human arrived to pick her up from Utah 🙄. A final thank you to us, which will leave us forever remembering her zoomies - our bank account will also never forget 😫🫣

Anyway… go live your best life girl. Emily will miss you more than she likes to admit but you’re living with her homies 🤠

Human reactive dogs deserve a chance at understanding that they can trust & appreciate humans too. We were honored to help this rising Phoenix 🐦‍🔥 ❤️

"Zeus"

9 month old pup looking for an ACTIVE foster or adopter!

Zeus has been professionally assessed by a trainer specializing in dog sports and canine work.

Just as we suspected, Zeus is quite the dog sport enthusiast and has a high drive to work for his handler. It is believed he'd have a great temperament for dog sports, scent work, and/or search and rescue.

Along with an assessment, we were given a foundation of training to build on. So the ground work has been laid out for us.

The missing piece? A home and person to learn and grow with.

Just wanted to say THANK YOU to whoever is sending us these Woof Pet refill pops & Benebone - #1 Rated Dog Toys bones for the dogs! We like to give everyone a chew or lick ball during their afternoon break - this is so helpful! 🙏

This is Vivian. She’s 12 years old & recently had a big change in her life when her owner moved into assisted living & was no longer able to care for her beloved dogs.

Viv was originally rehomed to a friend of the family but she was not comfortable there (she reportedly does not like all men & the home she was in had a man there that she continuously barked at). We took on 2 other dogs from the home (Stormi & her son, Kongo) back before we were on intake hold. When we learned Vivian was not doing well, we agreed to take her & do right by her.

Viv has some mobility issues due to hip dysplasia, is overweight, and in need of a dental cleaning if she’s cleared medically.

We will be getting her into the vet to get her joints feeling better, senior bloodwork & assessing if she is a candidate for sedation to address her teeth.

In the meantime, we’ve created a wishlist for her if you’d like to help us help her 🙏
