I AM ENOUGH! This week we talked about the pressure that often comes from us feeling like we need to be "perfect". We learned how to recognize our own unique values, how to accept who we are - just the way we are, and how to have the confidence that we are enough! Our mentor team is so proud of this group of girls and how they have grown as a group, together, supporting each other and building strong relationships throughout this session! They are BIO - beautiful inside and out!

Week # 9 - "Today I Celebrate Me!" This week we talked about two important things: 1) How to manage feelings of anxiety; and 2) What self-compassion looks and feels like. Our BIO Girls talked about some really great ways that they can practice self-compassion and celebrate themselves! This week we learned all about MINDFULLNESS! Today our world is go, go, go...so we took some time to learn mindfullness techniques, such as guided meditation, Take 5 breathing, and "Be the Pond". We also got our wiggles out and played some fun games! Each and every one of these incredible girls continue to amaze us each week - their presence, insights, and laughter are gifts to the worldl!

Week #3: I'm Not Perfect, I'm Learning!
Part of having a growth mindset is learning how to receive feedback and learn from it. This week we learned how to accept and give (helpful!) feedback with open ears, and open mind, an open heart, and open hands. We also continued to work on our strength! These girls continue to amaze us and it's incredible to watch their friendships and confidence grow!
