Some of our board members got together yesterday, grilled some burgers and brats, brownies and rhubarb crisp for dessert.

Afterwards we talked about our two upcoming events on September 12, RUCK LIFE in and Operation Zero in Anoka.
We are excited to see you there!

We are accepting Nominations, Donations and Volunteers for this upcoming Veterans Day, when we will help 2-4 selected Veteran families.❤️

Do you know a Veteran that needs and deserves some help? We are accepting nominations and donations for our annual event!

This upcoming Veteran's Day we will help 1-2 Veteran families in as many ways as possible, such as interior painting, vehicle repairs and tune ups, plumbing, light electrical work, yard cleaning, etc.

If you are or know a veteran that could benefit from this, please tag, comment or share with them.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Denny's family after learning of his passing at 82. He was our candidate for the 2022 Hues for Heroes event. He was quite the character and it was fun getting to know him and hear about his life. He could quote you a concrete job, give you life advice all while rebuilding an engine! You will be missed Denny, We are great full that we were able to give back to someone who gave some much for everyone around him.

What a great evening at the Blaine Festival! ❤️🇺🇸
We had so much fun meeting everyone who stopped by our booth and hearing your stories. We also received several veteran nominations, including the possibility of helping a 102-year-old WWII veteran this Veterans Day.

🇺🇸 We're at the Blaine Festival at Aquatore Park looking for veterans we can help this upcoming Veterans Day!

Through Hues for Heroes, we provide assistance such as:
🏠 Drywall repairs
🎨 Interior painting
🚗 Vehicle repairs & tune-ups
🌿 Yard cleanups
🌀 Air duct cleaning
⚡ Electrical work
🚪 Fence repairs
🔧 Light plumbing ...and more!

On Memorial Day we joined Patrick Ruegemer an Afghanistan veteran, owner of Higher Dimensions Roofing at their annual Murph Challenge event. The Murph workout is in honor of lieutenant Michael Murphy, who lost his life in Afghanistan. It consists of running 1 mile, doing 100 pullups, 200 pushups, and 300 squats, and then finishing with one more mile run. They have 3 divisions-
20/lb weighted vest
non vested
and assisted, where you can do your pushups on your knees, walk the miles, standing ring rows instead of pullups ect. so everyone can participate who wants to, at their own level.
