On Memorial Day we joined Patrick Ruegemer an Afghanistan veteran, owner of Higher Dimensions Roofing at their annual Murph Challenge event. The Murph workout is in honor of lieutenant Michael Murphy, who lost his life in Afghanistan. It consists of running 1 mile, doing 100 pullups, 200 pushups, and 300 squats, and then finishing with one more mile run. They have 3 divisions-
20/lb weighted vest
non vested
and assisted, where you can do your pushups on your knees, walk the miles, standing ring rows instead of pullups ect. so everyone can participate who wants to, at their own level.

We attended Higher Dimensions Roofing annual Memorial Day Murph Event yesterday, in honor of the Fallen. In particular Michael Murphy who lost his life in Afghanistan.

The Murph consists of wearing a 20lb Weighted vest, running 1 mile, then doing 100 pull ups, 200 pushups, 300 squats, and then finishing with running a final mile.

There are different levels to accommodate everyone's participation, from not wearing a weighted vest, to Walking instead of running the miles, push ups on the knees, ring rows instead of pull ups, so as many different ages and people can all come together.
Afterwards we all sang the National Anthem.

It was great meeting all the people and thank you for all the new followers 🙏❤️

Today is a somber day for Hues For Heroes. We at Hues For Heroes send out our prayers to the families of our fallen heroes! Also a special thanks to Andy, Bob, and Cary! We miss you and thank you for your dedication you had to serving our Vets while you were with us here on earth and Hues For Heroes!!!
