Pizza, players, and plenty of smiles! 🍕🏈💚💛

Our 2026 UAB Football honoree families had the BEST time at Pizza with the Players!

From our annual Smile-A-Mile Childhood Cancer Awareness Game to special moments like these, our partnership with UAB Football is about so much more than what happens on the field. It’s about making memories, building connections, and reminding our SAM kids and families that they have an entire team cheering them on. 🫶

A huge THANK YOU to Coach Alex Mortensen, the UAB football players, and staff for continuing to show up for our families in such meaningful ways. We’re grateful to have you on Team SAM!

Last week, our staff and alumni had the absolute pleasure of hosting a trunk at the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic at Huntsville Hospital’s annual Trunk or Treat. 💛

It was a fun-filled afternoon with our North Alabama families, handing out candy, celebrating, and seeing all of their smiling faces! 🫶 A big thank you to the Huntsville Hospital team for allowing us to participate in this amazing event!

A little Halloween magic, a whole lot of fun, and so many sweet memories! 🎃🍬 Spooktacular 2026 was filled with games, prizes, candy, and plenty of smiles from our SAM families!

We’re so grateful for the incredible volunteers who made this day possible! From decorating tents to dressing up and spending time with our kids and families, you helped make Spooktacular extra special. Thank you for filling the day with so much joy, love, and festive fun! 💛✨

It’s TCS New York City Marathon month, and our runners are ready to take on 26.2 miles in honor of the families we serve! 💛

These amazing women have been raising funds and awareness for SAM while training for the big day. And they need your help!

This past weekend, UAB Football honored our 100 childhood cancer patients during the 4th annual Smile-A-Mile Childhood Cancer Awareness Game!

Each player was paired with a Smile-A-Mile patient and proudly wore their name on the back of their jersey, creating a special tribute to the incredible children and families we serve. 🎗️

Thank you, UAB Football, for helping raise awareness for childhood cancer and for making our families feel so loved and celebrated. We are grateful for your partnership and support! 💛
