Our hearts are heavy as we remember the incredible Dolly Parton. ❤️
We’ll always be grateful for the magic she created for so many, including Katelyn, whose Magic Moment took her to Nashville to meet someone she had looked up to for so long. ✨
Thank you, Dolly, for sharing your kindness, joy, and light with the world—and for creating so much magic in the lives of those who loved and admired you. You will be deeply missed. 💛
Good news this is not, but I wanted to pass along the news that is breaking:
Music icon Dolly Parton has died at the age of 80.
Ms. Parton was born in 1946 in a one room cabin in Pittman, TN- her father was a sharecropper.
Dolly Parton grew to become not only a 10-time Grammy winner who saw 100 million units of her songs sold, she became an actress and a philanthropist.
Known as “Saint Dolly”, she lost her husband of 60 years in March of 2025.
I know that like me, you loved Dolly (seen here with Katelyn Dill, left, when the Cordova teen visited Dolly a few years back).
If ever there was a worldwide example of kindness, Dolly Parton was it.
In a divided world, there was always something about Dolly that united us.
I know you will keep Ms. Parton’s family in your prayers.
I know you will remind her:
“We’ll Always Love You”.
