Every June, Sister V. Deskie holds a month-long food drive benefiting veterans in Berks County through the non-profit organization Veterans Making A Difference. If you feel inclined to participate, please get any non-perishable food items to Vanessa NO glass items, please. All items collected through June are delivered to VMAD’s location in Reading right before July 4. This is the 7 year of this event, and being our nation’s 250th birthday, my goal is to surpass last year’s donations which was the largest to date. My sincerest gratitude to all.

On Friday evening, several of our members attended the East Penn Chapter #336 High Tea and Derby Fun for the Grand Family's visit. Fun definitely was had.

At our May 12th meeting, we welcomed Karin and Chris as our Worthy Marton and Patron for the insuing year. Karin's symbol is the puffin and like the puffin leaping out of its nest to learn to fly, her motto is 'Be brave- take a leap of faith." Welcome💕
