Just a reminder our monthly free community Pancake Breakfast is tomorrow 8/1 from 9 to 11am at MCC Birdsboro. Anchored Ministries will also be there with their mobile clothing trailer. We will also have our Food pantry open and have free cold brew coffee available from MCC's coffee truck. Everyone is welcome so come out and join us.

Operation Unshackled has some exciting things happening this week our 1st is our Free Pancake Breakfast held the 1st Saturday of every month 9-11am at MCC Birdsboro so come out and join us this coming Saturday 8/1 everyone is welcome. Next on the very next day Sunday 8/2. I will be presenting a Message at the 4:30 service at MCC Birdsboro on what God and the Bible tell us we should be doing about combating Human Trafficking. Please come out and join us for that as well.

With warmer weather here and our children spending time at the park. I wanted to share some safety tips.

Active Supervision: Stay within sight and reach of young children. Do not get distracted.

Establish a Secret Code Word: Create a unique code word to verify if someone else is picking them up. If the person doesn't know the word, the child should not go with them.

Trust Your Instincts: If a person or situation makes you feel uncomfortable, leave immediately.

Identify Safe Adults: Teach children to find police officers, security guards, or other mothers with children if they are lost.

Buddy System: Ensure children play in groups rather than alone, especially in secluded areas.

Be Aware of Grooming: Beware of strangers who show excessive attention, offer gifts, or ask children to keep secrets from parents.
