On May 29th, the Flame of Hope begins its cross-country journey to Minnesota. 🔥

The Law Enforcement Torch Run kickoff marks the official start of the road to the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games, uniting law enforcement officers, athletes, and communities in support of inclusion across the country.

As the torch makes its way toward Minnesota, every step carries something bigger than a flame. It carries belief, support, and excitement for the athletes who will take the stage in 2026.

Awards with Special Olympics Montana and Montana LETR are in progress for the last day! Officers have been the majority of all the events the past three days! Today is busy with Bocce and more Athletics!

Shout out to Motor Carrier Services, Yellowstone County Detention Facility, Glasgow Police Department, Billings Police Department, Ravalli County Sheriffs Office, Gallatin County Detention Center, The Division of Criminal Investigation, Montana Highway Patrol, Lewis & Clark County Sheriffs Office, and Fergus County Sheriffs Office for volunteering and donating their time!

Special Olympics State Games continue today at Par 3 and Rocky Mountain College for Golf, Soccer, and Bocce and officers from all over the State to give out medals!

These Officers are supported by their departments, bringing awareness and inclusion to our area, and joining the international movement.

The first of three days of the State Competition for Special Olympics Montana, officers from around the State have come together to hand out medals!

There are venues across the Magic City at Lockwood High School for athletics, Magic City Gymnastics, MSU Gym for swim, Metra for Cycling, and Rocky Mountain College over the next few days.
