⭐Announcing our 2027 United Way of Big Spring and Howard County Partner Agencies!⭐
Each year our Board of Directors meets to review all of the partner agency applications we receive and decide which agencies to fund in the upcoming year. The discussions and decisions made in these meetings are done so with the greatest use of our funds, and the overall benefit of the community in mind, and these decisions are not taken lightly.
Every application we receive is thoroughly considered and must have a double-majority vote by our board in order to be accepted or denied. This means a minimum of two separately called votes confirming a majority acceptance or denial must be accounted for.
While our partner agencies may be different from year-to-year, the heart behind them remains the same. There are so many great agencies in Howard County that we have partnered with over the years, and we encourage the community's ongoing support of all of them, whether funded by us this year or not!
