The Big Spring Native American Association, Big Spring Pow Wow Committee, is an organization devoted to promoting Native American culture. The primary function of the organization is to organize and host the Big Spring Pow Wow in Big Spring Texas. The Big Spring Pow Wow is a large inter-tribal pow wow that attracts dancer and craftsmen from all over the country. 2014 will mark the 10 year anniver

sary of the pow wow. In addition to the pow wow, the Big Spring Pow Wow Committee also takes part in community events, not only in the Big Spring area, but also surrounding communities such as San Angelo, Andrews, Odessa and Lubbock. It is our goal not only to host the very successful Big Spring Pow Wow, but also to educate the public about Native American Culture. We would like to invite all Native Americans in the Big Spring area to participate; non native members are welcome as well.
