📣 Homeschool Group Update for the 2026–2027 Year

This is normally the time of year when we open our group to new members, but things look a little different right now with the ongoing library renovations. We are accepting applications for the upcoming school year, but our co‑op class schedule won’t be finalized until closer to late August or early September.

We’re still excited to kick off a new year filled with both academic and enrichment opportunities for our families. All prospective members will need to complete an application and attend at least one public gathering, such as our park play days, so we can get to know you and answer any questions.

If you’d like more information or want to begin the application process, feel free to send us a DM. We’re looking forward to another great year of learning and community together.

Good Morning, Friends!

We hope your week is off to a bright and joyful start!

Just a little reminder—our Friday Play Days are open to the public and are a wonderful chance to meet our teachers, connect with other families, and let the kiddos explore and play together. If you've been curious about our program, it's a great time to stop by and say hello!

We’ve had several inquiries recently, and yes—we still have a few spots open in our academic program, though space is limited.

One question we’ve been hearing a lot is: “How is your academic program different from private school?”

Great question! Our program is built on partnership. While our teachers thoughtfully create the lessons and guide the learning, parents play an active role in shaping the experience to meet their child’s individual needs. We offer a Charlotte Mason–inspired approach, which means children aren't simply placed in a learning environment—they’re immersed in one that naturally invites curiosity, wonder, and connection.

Because we meet fewer days than traditional public or private schools, and because we support families in facilitating education rather than replacing it, our program is both more flexible and more affordable—without sacrificing depth or quality.

Our enrichment program (included in the academic track or available on its own) beautifully complements this with hands-on experiences that deepen understanding and spark engagement. It’s all about nurturing a love of learning by connecting with the child first—then connecting everything else to that spark.

If you have questions, please feel free to comment below or send a PM.
Thank you and have wonderful day!

Okay, but maybe instead of shoes, we fill it with books?!

Good Evening!

Thanks to everyone who came out to the meeting last night, if you didn't get a chance to make it but have questions please reach out to one of the board members as they can answer any questions you might have.
It's going to be an exciting year with two options;
The academic program will run one to two days a week depending on age and be a complete program! (Minus math) Which means you wouldn't need anything else for lang arts, science, history, etc.

The enrichment part of the co-op still offers art, field trips, park days but now we are adding handicrafts, nature studies, music appreciation and folk dancing as options you can pick from!

We are looking at class sizes and numbers as we have new members looking to join and of course we want to offer those spots to our current members first.

Please let us know which program you'd like to continue with in the fall as soon as possible. The teachers and board appreciate your timeliness as we are working behind the scenes to ensure a smooth transition and engaging year to come!

With the new changes we have a new tuition model.
And to best suit the needs of your family, you may pick what works best for your child. You may choose to put EACH child where you feel best.
Please note that the academic program is a commitment, it is an all in one program that builds off itself and so all classes are required. If you have questions please don't hesitate to ask, we want to ensure that families are comfortable with the style of learning and commitment needed prior to enrolling in a spot.

The enrichment only part, which you may pick and choose from enrichment classes, have access to the band app, field trips, play days, field day, etc is $25 per student.

The academic program, which aside from math (and phonics for the younger ones) is a complete program, is $50 per student. Students will receive a book list to use in class. These can be purchased at thriftbooks, resale shops, Amazon or wherever you'd like

Thank you again for your continued support and involvement in making our group a success!
