The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness. For over a century, the BSA has helped build the future leaders of this country by combining educational activitie

Last week I was honored to receive the Unit Merit Award of Scoutmaster of the Year. This would not be remotely possible though without a very strong committee behind me to make sure things don't slip through the cracks. It takes a village, and I am proud to be a part of the Troop 4 Beverly Scouting village.

Today five of our Scouts, including one of our newest, worked tirelessly at Three Sisters laying wood chips on one of their beds to prep for planting. We worked to be reverent to the land to grow better crops in the future.

Friends of Troop 4, keep your eyes open for our Centennial celebration we are planning for in November.

Another successful Klondike in the books! We did not win the race (didn't have our powerhouse Wesley this year to pull the sled) but the boys did a fantastic job! The course was a bit tougher this year with all the snow!

They did win a couple ribbons too! And I think everyone had fun along the way.

Fueling up for the big race!

Congratulations Noah!

Congratulations to Noah from Scouting America Troop 4 Beverly for earning the Richard Currier Service Award! This award recognizes the scout who logs the most service hours in a year, and along with it, Troop 4 donates $200 to a charity of the scout’s choice—Noah chose Beverly Bootstraps.🧡

Noah, we are so grateful for your generosity and dedication! These scouts are the future of our community, and we’re inspired by their commitment to giving back. 👏 We also want to thank Scouting America, Troop 4, and all the scouts for fostering values of service and leadership that strengthen our community every day.
