JEM Community Center JEM also caters to the masses, affecting the survival of the Jewish people as a nation.

The mission of the JEM Community Center is to put Jewish principles into practice through athletic and educational programs designed to build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. The JEM Community Center provides facilities and programs for all Jewish children, youths, adolescents, young professionals and adults in and entertaining and educational way. Using contemporary technology, sport activi

ties, and hands on approach to learning, JEM presents Jewish History, values, and traditions in a manner that inspires visitors with an increased interest and involvement in their heritage and Jewish Identity. Primarily the facility serves Pre High School children up to college and their families all over the Los Angeles area. JEM is a resource model for Jewish Education nationally and internationally. Additionally, JEM provides a setting for non-Jewish children to gain a positive perspective and awareness of the Jewish Heritage, fostering tolerance and understanding.

What an incredibly powerful evening in Beverly Hills! More than 1,000 people—Jewish and non-Jewish neighbors alike—came together at Beverly Cañon Gardens to light the first Hanukkah candle hosted by the JEM Community Center and Rabbi Hertzel Illulian. The feeling of solidarity and unity was absolutely electric!
