Researchers from UPTE rallied with hundreds of people in Sacramento to support SB 895, a bipartisan bill to protect research funding against Trump’s cuts. The legislation would establish a $23 billion bond to launch the California Foundation for Science and Health Research, funding new grants and loans to offset more than $600 million in attempted federal cuts.
