Growing Leaders Willard Growing Leaders develops new leaders by clearing a pathway for college and career through an elective class that grows, cooks, and sells monthly meals.

Growing Leaders develops new leaders by clearing a pathway for college and career. Students from Willard Middle School, Berkeley High School and Berkeley Technical Academy apply business, math, science, English, and mentorship skills in the kitchen and garden to produce bimonthly meals for sale. Students are involved in every aspect of the business from accounting, marketing, branding, to growing,

harvesting and cooking. Our program is geared towards the youth first, and everything else second. The garden and kitcen are tools to reach students and provde them with the skills and resources to do whatever they want. Whether it is the ability to work with others, or increased independence and confidence, students leave our program with the skills to take charge of their health and future.
