Get ready for the holidays by learning some mocktail tips and tricks!

Celebrate the season by joining us for a fun and festive Holiday Mocktail Competition! Working in teams, participants will create a delicious non-alcoholic mocktail by using a variety of provided ingredients, including teas, sugars, and other products. Snacks will be provided during the program, and the winning team will receive a $10 gift certificate generously donated by The Spice & Tea Exchange Bentonville.

Supplies are limited and registration is required. This program includes consumption of food products, so please beware of any allergens. This class is open to Adults 18+.

Please join us for an inspiring screening of the award-wining documentary Cookie Queens, a coming-of-age story about girlhood, ambition, and the joys and pressures of Girl Scout Cookie season.

Following the screening, producer Jennifer Sims; Girl Scouts Chief Experience Officer Ashia Huss; and two local Girl Scouts and a parent will join Peekaboo Owner and Operator Danielle Keller for a conversation about filmmaking, girlhood, ambition, and, of course...Girl Scout cookies!

The event is free to the public, but registration is required. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. The event will be held at Skylight Cinema in Screens 1 & 2. The trailer for the documentary is below:

Join us for a fun and fascinating conversation with New York Times-bestselling, Eisner-award nominated graphic novelist Nathan Hale.

Mr. Hale is the author of the wildly popular nonfiction graphic novel series Nathan Hale's Hazardous Tales, that profile important moments in American history. He will be here to talk about his newest release, The Web of War, which details the invasion of Normandy during World War II. This will be an open community event, with a book sale and signing to follow the program.

Registration is not required, but attendance will be limited to the capacity of the room.

In 2001, the Bentonville Tigers entered the season with modest expectations and an interim head coach. By season’s end, this was about more than football. It was about a team, a moment in history, and a community that came together when it mattered most.

The panel will feature: EMMY AWARD WINNING Filmmaker Kyle Yazzie; 2001 Football State Champion Trae Basore; Former Sports Editor for Benton County Daily Record Paul Gatling; and former Bentonville Mayor Terry Black Coberly. The panel will be moderated by Tara Cloud Clark from the Bentonville Public Library.

Come join the Paper Hug Project to make heartfelt cards to brighten someone's day!

A simple note can be a powerful reminder: you are seen, you are loved, and you are not alone. With the help of events and community volunteers—children, teens, adults, and families—we deliver heartfelt cards to nursing home residents who may be experiencing loneliness or isolation. Each card is a paper hug—small, thoughtful, and full of love.

Paper Hugs Project was created to bring warmth, connection, and joy to residents of local nursing homes in NWA through handwritten cards.

Get ready for the ultimate battle where families of creative amateur artisans will compete against each other for the crown of Bentonville's Best Family Crafters! Imagine the show "Chopped" combined with "The Great British Bake Off"....minus the food!

Here is how it will work:

Six family premium spots are open for registration to artisans. To qualify as a family entry, at least two people must compete in that family group. Only one family member needs to register on behalf of the family for the event, but bring as many family members as you want to help!

Each family will be provided a crate of identical "spooky" crafting supplies that can be made into the funkiest, most unique craft you can conjure during the slotted time in the Makerspace. Each family can also use basic supplies from the Makerspace such as glue, scissors, hair dryers, etc., but will not know the contents of each crate until the competition begins (because that makes it more fun!)

A family winner will be crowned at the end of the event and their winning craft will be on display in the library for everyone to enjoy! Let the "spooky" games begin!
