We’re excited to invite your summer interns to the NextUp Summer Intern Connect, a great opportunity for them to build connections, learn, and engage with other interns across Northwest Arkansas.

Event Details:
📅 Date: June 9th
🕓 Time: 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM
📍 Location: Sam Walton Hall, Walmart Home Office
(1500 SE 8th St, Bentonville, AR)

This event is free and open to all NWA interns and will include:

Networking opportunities with peers and professionals
Guest speakers, including a Walmart executive recruiter and merchant
Insights on interviewing, job searching, and securing a full-time role
Free food & drinks
Giveaways

We ask that you please share this opportunity directly with your interns and encourage them to attend. This is a valuable chance for them to expand their network, gain career insights, and make the most of their summer experience in Northwest Arkansas!

You are invited to Table of 8!
Spend an evening at a local restaurant getting to know 7 other NextUp community members. The goal of Table of 8 is to meet new friends, connect with other people who live near you, find things you did not know you had in common with people you’ve known for a while, and to deepen your sense of community with NextUp.

How it works:
Three days before the event (Monday, May 18th) you’ll receive an email with your restaurant assignment based on your preferences, all you have to do is show up and be ready to meet new people! Important Note: You are required to pay for your own drinks and meal.
Remember to take a group photo and send it via DM to our Instagram social account with the restaurant you attended.
