Meet founding WOZ member, Allyson De La Houssaye!

Allyson is someone who sees possibility everywhere, in people, in ideas and in the communities being built around them. Through her work as a filmmaker and creative in Bentonville, she’s spent years helping tell stories about connection, collaboration and the people shaping Northwest Arkansas.

That same energy exists in the way she shows up for WOZ.

As a founding member, Allyson helped build the kind of community where women feel encouraged to try new things, meet new people, and grow together on and off the bike. She understands that the best communities don’t happen by accident. They’re built by people willing to keep showing up for each other.

We’re really glad she’s part of this one.

Meet founding WOZ member, Lauren Pickman!

Lauren has been part of Women of OZ since the beginning and has helped shape so much of what this community has become. Through rides, clinics, events, and years of showing up for other women, she’s helped create a space where more people feel comfortable trying something new.

She believes bikes can change lives. Not just through riding itself, but through the friendships, confidence, and sense of belonging that come with it.

A lot of what WOZ is today traces back to women like Lauren who believed this community could be something special long before most people saw it.
