Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders sat down with Olivia Walton to discuss maternal health in the state of Arkansas. The governor acknowledged that we have a problem with access. Her solution? Not increase access and create more programs, it’s to try to get people to take advantage of what we already have.

Arkansas is the ONLY state in the country to not extend postpartum Medicaid coverage to 12 months. Also, over 40% of Arkansas counties are considered maternal care deserts. Where is the access that she speaks of?

Will new data centers make your power bill go up?

We can’t say for sure, because Entergy is being very shady about how much power data centers will use.
But probably! Ratepayers will foot the bill for new power plants under a 2025 law.

A big issue with data centers is their effect on our utility bills. Your bill is already going up; data centers will make them go up more.
