Explore the outdoors with confidence! All-terrain wheelchairs are available at Claytor Lake State Park, Mason Neck State Park, New River Trail State Park, Powhatan State Park, Shenandoah River State Park and York River State Park.

These specialized chairs make it easier for visitors with mobility impairments to enjoy designated trails and experience new adventures. They’re free to use, available for both children and adults, can run up to 20 miles on a single charge, and must be reserved in advance.

It should be a beautiful weekend for local outdoor activities.

We are excited by the support that Warren County Unplugged gets from local organizations, like Warren County, VA Habitat for Humanity! They are bringing back their Backyard Games at the Gazebo event, with even more to do this year, plus special entertainment from the School of Rock! It's a brave choice to have an outdoor event this early in March--it could be snowing or it could be 80 degrees! Whatever the weather, please stop by and check out the fun on March 7th!

⚠️ Update on the Daughter of Stars- Geminid Meteor Shower Watch party on Dec. 13. ⚠️ We want to say thank you for the overwhelming number of registration requests. The waitlist for the event is currently over 100 visitors. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate any additional spots due to parking capacity constraints.

⛺ However, if you are registered to camp at our park on Dec. 13, then you do not have to register for the event, but please have your camping reservation confirmation email ready to show at the event. If you are camping at our park on Dec. 13 and have already signed up for the event, please cancel your sign-up.

"I recently rented a canoe from Front Royal Outdoors for a fishing trip with my brother-in-law and 6-year-old son, and it was an amazing experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. The check-in process was quick and easy, and the shuttles for both drop-off and pickup were prompt and efficient. We spent a beautiful day on the river, which was absolutely gorgeous, and we caught a ton of fish! It was one of the best fishing trips we’ve had. Overall, it was a fantastic outing, and I highly recommend Front Royal Outdoors for anyone looking for a great outdoor adventure."
