Our little pantry is getting a lot of use. We are only able to check it 2-3 times per week, and even though we are filling it up, often times it is completely empty by the time we get back to it again. We understand... the state of the economy and high prices are making it difficult for many folks to meet their most basic needs.
Although the pantry sits on our church property, it is a community pantry. It belongs to all of us, and we are so grateful to our neighbors who have donted. Because of this kindness, families have found food, hope, and support when they needed it most.
If you are able, would you consider helping us keeping the pantry stocked? Items that would be most helpful include *canned soups, fruits, vegetables, *canned tuna (or packets) and chicken, *peanut butter and jelly, *pasta and pasta sauce, *rice and boxed meals, cereal and oatmeal, *cereal bars and snack items, *mac n cheese, and *shelf-stable milk. Please remember that all items should be non-perishable and unopened.
Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared, or helped spread the word. Every can, box, and act of kindness makes a difference. Together we can ensure that anyone who needs a little extra help will find it here.
