The City of Beloit, Wisconsin - Government has issued a media release with important information about traffic impacts and opening‑weekend activities for the Ho‑Chunk Nation Casino opening on October 23.

The City of Beloit is informing residents, workers, and visitors to expect increased traffic in the Milwaukee and Willowbrook road corridor as the Ho-Chunk Nation Casino opens on Oct. 23, 2026.
Residents are encouraged to take alternate routes and to avoid Willowbrook Road from October 18-25, 2026, as the casino prepares soft launch activities ahead of the official opening.
The casino officially opens its doors to the public at 2pm Friday, October 23, following a mini pow wow with dancers and drummers outside from 12-2pm.
If parking lots are full at the casino site, message boards will display information on the casino site and along Willowbrook Road. Parking vehicles on Willowbrook and Colley roads is prohibited.

The City of Beloit is collaborating with government partners including Rock County Sheriff’s Office, Rock County Communications Center, Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Wisconsin State Patrol, South Beloit Police Department, Illinois State Police, Illinois Department of Transportation, and Winnebago County, IL Sheriff’s Office in preparation for regional traffic impacts.
