Dear Wonderful Moms 🥰,
We hope you are all having a beautiful summer! We’ve certainly been enjoying the gorgeous weather. ☀️
As we promised at our meeting in May, we wanted to share an update about the future of Central Moms Beloit.
Earlier this summer we met with Shannon to prayerfully discern the future of our group. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, and one that none of us came to lightly. Over the past several months, we’ve spent a great deal of time praying, reflecting, and talking through what is best for both the ministry and our families.
As we talked through it all, it became clear that continuing the group simply isn’t possible for us right now. Providing childcare, organizing meetings, and handling all of the behind-the-scenes details has become increasingly difficult with such a small leadership team. On top of that, each of us has experienced significant changes in our own lives, and Jane and Esther have also been attending different churches for quite some time now.
As heartbreaking as it is to say, we feel that the Lord is leading us to close this chapter. We love this ministry too much to continue if we aren’t able to give it the time, energy, and commitment it deserves. Rather than begin another year knowing we may not be able to faithfully finish it, we believe this is the right decision, even though it is a very hard one. 💙
Looking back over these past three years, we feel so thankful 🥰. It has been such a gift to get to know each of you and your precious children. We’ve shared meals, laughter, tears, prayers, celebrations, and burdens together. Every mom who walked through our doors helped create a community where women could be known, encouraged, and reminded that they weren’t walking through motherhood alone.
This past year felt especially meaningful. One of our favorite memories was the evening we set aside the MOMCo video and simply shared our own stories. It was a beautiful reminder that God often works most powerfully through honest conversations, listening hearts, and women willing to walk alongside one another.
Although Central Moms Beloit is coming to an end, we pray this won’t be the end of the friendships and community that have grown here. Shannon shared that there are several wonderful groups at Central where you can continue finding connection, encouragement, and fellowship, as well as the Central Moms Janesville group (you can find them on facebook or reach out via [email protected]). If you’re longing for community, we truly encourage you to take that next step.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for allowing us to be part of your motherhood journeys. Your friendship has been a tremendous blessing to each of us, and we will always be thankful for what God did through this group. While we’re sad that this season is ending, we trust that He is faithful and will continue to lead each of us exactly where we need to be.
